Minutewomen Set For Midweek Doubleheader Tomorrow At Bryant

New Faces
The Minutewomen's 2021 roster features six newcomers in addition to their 11 returners from the shortened 2020 campaign. UMass has had three freshmen see their first collegiate action while four sophomores have seen action. Freshman Bella Pantoja has earned two starts in the infield while fellow freshmen Taylor Spexarth and Payge Suggs have made appearances for UMass.

The Opponent
Bryant heads into tomorrow's doubleheader with a 1-1 overall record after falling at Boston College before picking up a 3-0 win over Holy Cross. The Bulldogs were led by Toni Camarillo and Carlyn Hernandez's RBIs in their win over Holy Cross on Sunday in the win.

Looking Ahead
The Minutewomen follow up their doubleheader against the Bulldogs this weekend with a four-game Atlantic 10 series against Fordham at Sortino Field. The series is set to open up on Friday at 2 p.m. with a doubleheader slated for Saturday while the series comes to a conclusion on Sunday at noon.
