AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts softball team will continue their homestand this weekend with a three-game conference series against the Saint Bonaventure Bonnies on Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16.

Last Time Out
Massachusetts split their series against Marist on Wednesday, dropping the first contest by a score of 9-3, but winning the second contest by a score of 6-5. In the victory, Taylor Richardson logged her first career RBI and home run, which won the game in the seventh inning. Bella Pantoja and Abby Lamson each recorded an RBI in the win, while Natalee Horton recorded the victory in the circle. The freshman threw seven strikeouts and allowed three earned runs on the day.

Scouting The Bonnies
Saint Bonaventure has gone 8-23-1 on the season thus far and 3-11 in conference play. Olivia Moon leads the bonnies at the plate with a .290 average, with Haley Strang not following far behind with a .287 average. Moon also leads the squad in RBIs with 18, followed by Grace Perechinsky with 16 on the season. Moon also leads the team in hits with 36, followed by Strang with 31. In the circle, Ally Haskell has a 3.36 ERA with 58 strikeouts in 89.2 innings pitched. Emily Phelan has posted a 4.52 ERAin 108.1 innings of work, logging 95 strikeouts.

Looking Ahead
The Minutewomen will end their homestand with one against Boston University on Wednesday, April 19 before traveling to Fordham for a three-game series on Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23. They will return home for a doubleheader against Rhode Island on Wednesday, April 26 before wrapping up home conference play against George Washington on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30.
