To Quickly Recap

Kevin Tobin contributed two goals and an assist and Logan Liljeberg added three points on a goal and two assists and recorded three groundballs. - After the Tigers killed off a penalty to begin the second half, Kyle Berkley expanded their lead back out to three at 7-4. Kevin Tobin scored twice in a span of 1 minute, 18 seconds to make it a one-goal game, but Towson went on to net the next four to build a five-goal cushion at 11-6 to help cement the win.
- The Tigers out-shot UMass 45-39, with the Gorillas leading in shots on goal, 25-24. Towson went 2-for-4 in extra man situations, while limiting Massachusetts to a 0-for-5 day. Goalkeeper Matt Knote registered 12 saves for the Gorillas.
