Massachusetts Men's Lacrosse Lands Eight Student-Athletes On NEILA All-Academic Team

AMHERST, Mass. – Eight University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse seniors and graduate students have been named to the 2026 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic Team, the organization announced recently.
Members of the teams are nominated by head coaches in Divisions I, II and II, and are student-athletes who have excelled both in the classroom and on the field over the course of their men's lacrosse career.
Overall, 59 different colleges and universities were represented across all three divisions. Eleven schools from Division I made up the 59 All-Academic award winners. UMass matched Brown for second-most honorees in DI, trailing only Harvard's 10.
Nominees must have a senior or graduate student standing with no eligibility remaining or plans to use their eligibility in New England, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, and be an impact player for their team.
