Last Time Out
The Minutewomen picked up a doubleheader sweep of Rhode Island in Atlantic 10 play earlier this week. UMass picked up a 10-1 win in five innings in game one as Jessie DiPasquale held it down in the circle for the Minutewomen on her way to finishing the game with seven strikeouts and just two hits allowed. Caroline Videtto went a perfect 4-for-4 in game two with two triples and four RBI, including a bases loaded triple in the top of the seventh to help UMass pull ahead 12-9 in the eventual 12-11 win.

Offensive Burst
UMass racked up 22 runs in 12 innings of the Rhode Island doubleheader, including 17 hits in game two. In game one, seven different Minutewomen recorded base hits while six picked up at least one RBI. Four Minutewomen had multi-hit games in the second game of the doubleheader, led by Videtto's four while Kristina Day and Hannah Bunker recorded three hits to go along with two hits and three RBI from Kendra Allen.

The Opponent
Saint Joseph's comes into the weekend series with a 10-10 overall record and a 4-0 mark in Atlantic 10 play. The Hawks are led offensively by Caela Abadie's .406 average to go along with 19 RBI and six home runs while Kirsten Cox owns a .383 average at the dish. In the circle, the Hawks' Amanda Herr has appeared in 13 games and owns a 4-4 record while Emily Siler leads the way with a 1.45 ERA.
