Last Time Out
The Minutewomen fell on the road at Delaware in the season opener on Sunday afternoon. Returners Amy Smith and Hannah Bunker eached finished with a hit on the game while freshman Bella Pantoja picked up her first career hit on a bunt in the top of the third inning.

The Squad
The 2021 UMass squad features 11 returners from the 2020 season along with six newcomers added to the fold. The Minutewomen return Caroline Videtto, who led UMass in batting average in the shortened 2020 season while tying the UMass single-game record for RBI in a game with seven as she was named the A-10 Player of the Week. Fellow returner Kendra Allen drove in a team-high nine runs with four home runs and a .818 slugging percentage in 2020.

The Opponent
Boston College heads into tomorrow's matchup with a 3-7 record on the season after most recently defeating Bryant 8-0 on Wednesday. The Eagles are led at the plate by Ellie Mataya's .429 batting average while the team owns a .220 average through 10 games. Susannah Anderson has tossed a team-high 34.1 innings for the Eagles in six starts.

Looking Ahead
The Minutewomen are currently scheduled for a two-week break following tomorrow's matchup at BC. UMass' next series is scheduled for March 26-28 against Fordham at Sortino Field in a four-game Atlantic 10 series. The Minutewomen will remain at home following the Fordham series for four games against Rhode Island the following weekend.
