Last Time Out
The Minutewomen split a pair of games in a shortened series at Saint Louis over the weekend, racking up 23 hits in the doubleheader with 13 in an 8-5 game one win. UMass jumped on Saint Louis with four runs in the first inning to help guide them to a win while being led offensively by Kaitlyn Stavinoha's career-high four hits to go along with two runs scored. Jackie Kelley, Melissa Garcia and Hannah Bunker each chipped multi-hit performances as Bunker and Alyssa Lyon each drove in a pair of runs.

The Opponent
UMass leads the all-time series with regional opponent UConn 49-45-1 with the Huskies winning the last meeting in 2017 after last year's contest was cancelled due to weather. The Minutewomen hold a 4-3 advantage in the series dating back to 2013 while picking up a pair of wins in three meetings against the Huskies in 2014.

Atlantic 10 Player of the Week
Stavinoha earned her second Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honor of 2019 after posting a .700 average at the plate in three contests last week, driving in at least run and scoring in all three games. At Boston College last Wednesday, Stavinoha went 1-of-2 at the plate with a pair of RBI and a triple before going on to post a new career-high with four hits against Saint Louis in game one. Stavinoha added two more hits in the second game of the doubleheader to bring her on-base percentage for the week to .769 while slugging 1.000.

Movin' On Up
Erin Stacevicz heads into the midweek contest needing to score just one run to move into a tie with Lauren Proctor (2005-08) for 10th most runs scored in a UMass career with 125 as she sits at 124 currently. The senior ranks sixth on the career hit list with 214 and trails Whitney Mollica (2006-09) and Emily Robustelli (2000-03) for fourth with 222 hits.

Kiara Oliver made her way into the top-20 on the UMass career wins list with a pair of wins last week to give her 24 in her career. On Sunday at Saint Louis, Oliver moved into 13th on the career strikeout rankings with 271 and currently trails Kelli Arnold (2002-04, 273) for 12th on the list with Darlene Claffey (1990-93, 305) rounding out the top-10.

Approaching 100
Seniors Kaycee Carbone and Stavinoha are both within single-digit RBI of reaching the 100 RBI mark in their careers. Carbone heads into the week with 92 career RBI while Stavinoha sits at 94 with a team-high 22 RBI this season.
