Looking Ahead
The Minutewomen will play five games over a three-day span at the Turner Softball Stadium in Athens, Ga. UMass opens up the Georgia Classic against Belmont and No. 8-ranked Georgia before facing off with the Bulldogs again on Saturday evening after facing Bryant in the morning. Belmont leads the all-time series against UMass, winning the only meeting in 2016 while UMass and Georgia are tied all-time at 2-2. UMass owns a 2-0 record against Bryant, winning the last meeting in 2017 6-4 behind three hits and three RBI from Kaycee Carbone.

Last Time Out
UMass ended its opening weekend of play on a strong note, scoring three unanswered runs to beat Providence 3-1 to round out the Diamond 9 Citrus Blossom. Kaitlyn Stavinoha led the way with a .471 weekend at the plate to go along with two home runs, three doubles and four RBI. A pair of freshmen in Danielle Ellis and Kenadee Rausch picked up a pair of firsts over the weekend, with Ellis recording four RBI while Rausch recorded a 0.91 ERA on her way to her first collegiate win.

The Opponents
Belmont enters the weekend with a 4-1 overall record after opening the season at the Madeira Beach Invitational, picking up wins over Ball State, Akron, Drexel and Delaware. The host and nationally ranked Georgia Bulldogs host their second tournament in as many weeks, going unbeaten last time out to bring them to a record of 9-1 on the season. Bryant was off last week after starting the season 0-5 and is led offensively by Tiffany Bell's .500 average.

Game Coverage
Both games against the host Georgia will be available on SEC Network+ with a two camera setup with no play-by-play or color announcers. Live stats for all five games will be available online while additional coverage will be available on the UMass Softball Twitter and Instagram pages.

Weekend Weather
Due to impending rain in the forecast for the weekend, all five games have been moved up 90 minutes. UMass will now open up at 11:30 a.m. on Friday morning against Belmont before taking on the host Bulldogs at 4:30.
