Minutewomen Fall to Bilikens, 1-0

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts softball (15-17, 4-2 Atlantic 10) fell to Saint Louis (15-18, 4 -7 A-10), 1-0, in Sunday's finale of the three-game series.
Junior Meg Colleran started on the mound and pitched six innings, striking out four batters and giving up just three hits.
The Minutewomen picked up four hits throughout the game but were unable to string together a rally and put one on the board. Senior Jena Cozza, sophomore Kaycee Carbone and freshman Nicole Imhof and Candace Denis each reached on a single.
UMass will be traveling to Rhode Island on Wed., April 12 for a doubleheader at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
