Tennis Lands Three On CSC Academic All-District Team

Campino, Faessler and Jonglertrakul earn the accolade for their efforts in the classroom and on the court.
AMHERST, Mass. – Three members of the University of Massachusetts tennis team landed on the 2025 College Sports Communicators' (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced this week. Seniors Mariana Campino and Belle Jonglertrakul, and junior Ella Faessler all collected the honor.
Campino and Faessler earn the accolade for the second straight year, while Jonglertrakul garners the honor for the first time in her career.
The accolade recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined efforts on the court and in the classroom. To be nominated for the CSC Academic All-District Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
A native of Pinhal Novo, Portugal, Campino is working towards her bachelor's degree in microbiology. The senior capped the 2025 season with a 10-4 singles record, primarily competing at the No. 1 position, going 8-3 overall. In the Atlantic 10, Campino went 3-1 in singles competition. She completed with a doubles record of 10-5, primarily partnering with Jonglertrakul at court No. 1.
Faessler, a Hilton Head, South Carolina, native, is pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology. The junior split time between No. 2 and No. 3 singles, registering an overall record of 8-8, including a 2-1 A-10 record. At No. 3 singles, she went 2-2, while also playing two matches at the No. 1 position, posting a winning record of 2-0. Faessler partnered with teammate Amelia Tye at No. 2 doubles, as the duo went 7-8 overall and 1-1 in the A-10.
Earning an undergraduate degree in food science, Jonglertrakul completed the dual season with an 8-7 singles record, including a 2-1 record in the A-10. Primarily playing at the No. 3 slot, she went 6-2 overall in singles. She partnered with Campino in doubles competition, posting an 8-5 record across both courts No. 1 and No. 1.
