Massachusetts Drops Final Game Of Gamecock Invitational To JMU

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Massachusetts (3-11) fell short on the final day of the Gamecock Invitational dropping a 6-2 decision to James Madison (10-4) on Sunday at Carolina Softball Stadium.
The Minutewomen battled on the final day of the Gamecock Invitational as they tallied four hits, mounting a late inning comeback that fell short. Sophomore Natalee Horton got the nod in the circle, pitching a complete game while recording six strikeouts. Junior Lydia Castro led Massachusetts offensively going 2-3 at the plate while starting at catcher.
