Next Up
The Minutewomen will face-off against the Hatters tomorrow for a doubleheader in what will be the third and fourth games between the two programs all-time with both teams tied at 1-1 in the series with the last meeting being played in 1988. Stetson comes into the matchup with a 7-13 overall record after going 2-2 at the Stetson Invitational last weekend on their home field. The Hatters are led offensively by Elizabeth Jackson's .422 average at the plate on 27 hits while Tori Perkins leads the pitching staff with a 6-4 record to go along with a 2.04 ERA.

Last Time Out
UMass went 1-4 last weekend at the USF-Clearwater Parks and Recreation Showcase, posting a season-high 12 hits in an 8-5 win over Seton Hall on Saturday night. Sophomore Hannah Bunker led the way for UMass at the plate with a .462 average to go along with four RBI while fellow sophomore Alyssa Lyon posted a .455 average with a .636 slugging-percentage. Kaycee Carbone added a .417 batting average while scoring six runs as one of three Minutewomen to bat over .400 while six posted averages of .300 or better for a team that batted .299 in five games.

UMass Leaders
Kaitlyn Stavinoha leads the UMass offense in nine offensive categories, including batting average (.410), hits (25), RBI (13), slugging-percentage (.721) and on-base percentage (.464). Bunker now ranks second on the team in batting average with a .333 clip at the plate after leading the Minutewoman offense last weekend while Riley Gregoire owns a .305 average to go along with nine runs scored.

Looking Ahead
The Minutewomen will return to New England on Thursday to gear up for another midweek game against Boston University on Wed., March 20 at 4 p.m. in Boston before hosting St. Bonaventure for a three-game series in the Atlantic 10 opener on Sat.-Sun., March 23-24 beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday at noon.
