Atlantic 10 Championship Rematch
Tomorrow's matchup on the road marks the first meeting between the two teams since they matched up in the Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship in November in Dayton, Ohio. The Minutemen came out on top in a 3-1 victory over the second-seeded Rams in the title match as Davis Smith netted the would be game-winning goal in the 77th-minute before UMass added their third goal to claim their first tournament title since 2008 moments later.

Among A-10 Leaders
Individually, UMass ranks multiple players in the top-10 in points this season as both Smith and Jack Fulton rank tied for seventh in most points in the league with 10 through the first nine contests. Smith and Fulton, along with DeAndrae Brown, all rank in the top-five among league leaders with four goals each while Yosuke Hanya and James McPherson each rank inside the top-10 in assists.

Midseason Best XI
Senior defender Brandon Merklin was selected to the New England Soccer Journal's Midseason Best XI as announced yesterday by the soccer magazine. Merklin, a Massapequa, N.Y. native, has dished out a pair of assists and added a goal through 10 games of this senior campaign while helping anchor the UMass defense. A Second-Team All-Atlantic 10 selection a season ago, Merklin needs just one more assist to set a new career-high for assists in a season.

All spectators will have to pay a lot fee of $10 on gameday to park near Rudd Field as these lots also serve as tailgating lots. Spectators may pre-purchase parking for $5 by clicking this link.
