Men’s Soccer Wraps Up Regular-Season Home Schedule

Last Time Out
UMass split a pair of tough road games last week, capping off the week with a 1-0 win on the road at Fordham. The Minutemen picked up their fifth shutout of the season while goalkeeper Marvyn Dorchin racked up a career-high six saves, including four in the final 23 minutes of the match. DeAndrae Brown put home his second goal of the week and eighth of the season less than 10 minutes into the second half to put UMass ahead in an eventual shutout.
Senior Day
The Minutemen will honor 11 seniors on Senior Day Saturday before the regular-season home finale against Dayton. The ceremony will honor Samuel Asamoah, Clement Benhaddouche, Kevin Boino, DeAndrae Brown, Dylan Cranmer, Jack Fulton, Konrad Gorich, Casey Hamill, Jared McCleary, Brandon Merklin and Stephen Ravazzoli. The Senior Day ceremony will begin at 12:45 near the spectator stands on the West side of Rudd Field.
Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week
Brown claimed his first A-10 Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a pair of goals on the road last week. Brown netted his first against Rhode Island on Wednesday before picking up the lone goal in a 1-0 road win at Fordham, finding the top shelf in the back of the net on rebounded shot attempt in the 54th-minute. The forward ranks second among all of the A-10 leaders in goals on the season with eight.
