Starting long-stick defensive midfielder played in all 14 games and had 13 groundballs and eight caused turnovers along with a goal and an assist.
Second-career goal at #13 Drexel (5/1) on nice dodge.
Two groundballs in big win over #10 Georgetown (4/24).
Two groundballs and two caused turnovers at Delaware (4/17).
First-career assist on a long outlet and fastbreak vs. #13 Harvard (3/13).
Grabbed career-high five groundballs and caused two turnovers at Sacred Heart (2/12).
AS A JUNIOR IN 2009:
Long stick midfielder played in all 15 games this season. Also wing man on faceoffs.
Had a goal, 20 groundballs and nine caused turnovers.
Best game of career with first-career goal, career-high four groundballs, key caused turnover at Hobart (4/11).
Part of close defense that kept St. John[apos]s (4/4) starting attack pointless while forcing two turnovers.

Returned to action vs. Hobart (4/12), where he had two caused turnovers to help defense shut out attack unit ... Missed game at St. John[apos]s (4/5) following concussion ... AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006 (at Butler): Played in one games as a freshman for the Bulldogs under head coach Stan Ross and former UMass assistant Chris Gabrielli ... played against Duke.
BEFORE COLLEGE: Standout at Glenbrook South High School in Illinois ... earned All-American, First Team All-State, and All-Conference honors ... His 145 ground balls in 16 games set a school record ... played on the Notre Dame Midwest Challenge All-Star Team and won the Best Defenseman Award for Team Illinois in 2004 ... also played hockey and was the youngest male member to be selected to the Minocqua Bat Water Ski Team--the oldest amateur water ski show in the world.
