Minutewomen Officially Claim No. 1 Seed at 2025 A-10 Championship Tournament

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The University of Massachusetts women's lacrosse program has officially earned the No. 1 seed in the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship Tournament, the league announced on Sunday afternoon.
The Minutewomen claimed their 14th consecutive A-10 Regular Season Championship and 16th straight season with either a regular season or tournament title after finishing the 2025 campaign with an undefeated 10-0 record in conference play. Massachusetts clinched their seventh consecutive season with an undefeated record in Atlantic 10 play, finishing with a 13-3 overall record. Over the last eight seasons Massachusetts has won 55 consecutive A-10 regular season matchups, last falling 17-16 in overtime to VCU on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Cary Street Field.
Massachusetts will face No. 4 Richmond in a rematch of last season's championship final on Friday, May 2 at 12 p.m. at Robins Stadium in Richmond Va. The winner will move onto the Atlantic 10 Championship game, which will be held on Sunday, May 4 at 12 p.m., facing the winner of game four on Friday, May 2 at 3 p.m.
The Atlantic 10 tournament is a six-team, single-elimination bracket hosted by University of Richmond at Robins Stadium. The winner of the 2025 Atlantic 10 women's lacrosse Championship will earn the conference's automatic bid and advance to the NCAA Tournament.
