AMHERST, MASS. - The Minutewomen will return for their final home stretch of the season, taking on UMass Lowell on Tuesday, April 22 at 3 p.m. at Graber Field. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and can be followed live on umassathletics.com or UMassLacrosse on Twitter.

THE MAtchup
- Tuesday's matchup marks the seventh meeting between the two programs with Massachusetts holding a 6-0 record all-time in the series.
- The Minutewomen earned a definitive 18-9 victory over the Riverhawks last season in Lowell.
- Massachusetts has won 54 consecutive A-10 regular season matchups, last falling 17-16 in overtime to VCU on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Cary Street Field.
LAST TIME OUT
- Massachusetts women's lacrosse clinched at least a share of the Atlantic 10 Regular Season Championship, securing a 20-13 win over St. Bonaventure on Saturday, April 19 at the Marra Athletics Field Complex.
- The win marks the 14th consecutive A-10 Regular Season Championship for the Minutewomen and 16th straight season with either a regular season or tournament title.
- The Minutewomen faced a one goal deficit after the first quarter of play but utilized a 5-0 scoring run over four minutes of action to claim an 11-6 advantage they would never relinquish. Massachusetts followed that second quarter scoring run with another, this time tallying six goals unanswered to begin the fourth quarter, securing a 20-11 lead to ice the matchup.
- Kassidy Morris delivered a career best performance for Massachusetts in attack, totaling a career-high eight goals on 13 total shots. Morris has now scored 61 goals on the season, putting her seven away from breaking the program record.
- Tessa Shields recorded her eighth hat trick of the season, scoring three goals while dishing out a pair of assists. Delaney Rodriguez-Shaw also tallied five points in the matchup, recording two goals and three assists.
- Jordan Dean put together another well-rounded performance, totaling a game-high 13 draw controls to go along with three caused turnovers and two ground balls. Dean has now recorded double-digit draw controls in four straight games, totaling 153 on the season.
At a glance
- The Massachusetts women's lacrosse program came into 2025 off it's 15th straight Atlantic 10 title.
- Senior Jordan Dean entered the year as a Inside Lacrosse Division I Preseason First Team All-American.
- Dean came off a 2024 season which saw her set the NCAA Division I single season record for draw controls, breaking the previous mark of 221 while finishing the season with 261. The junior was named to the Atlantic 10 First-Team All-Conference squad after finishing with double-digit draw controls in 15-of-18 games, including a career-high 20 against VCU
- Senior Kassidy Morris earned Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference after scoring a team-leading 63 goals while adding 16 assists to rank second on the team in points with 79 last season. The Washago, Ontario native posted hat tricks in 14 games and posted seven goals in back-to-back wins over VCU and UConn.
- Overall the Minutewomen returned 23 players from last season while welcoming 12 newcomers comprised of nine freshman and three transfers.
On the Sideline
- Head Coach Jana Drummond enters her third season at the helm of the Minutewomen, holding a career record of 40-11 (.78). Drummond has coached the Minutewomen to the Atlantic 10 Regular Season Championship in all three seasons, coaching five major conference award winners.
- Assistant Lia Laprise enters her second season in Amherst, coming to UMass after a standout career at UConn, where she finished her career as the program's all-time leader in points and assists.
- Assistant Avergy Giorgio begins her tenure with the Minutewomen after two stints as an assistant women's lacrosse coach at Trinity College. A former Division I Lacrosse player at Holy Cross and assistant at both the club level and Trinity College, Giorgio brings immense experience to the Massachusetts program.
- Program alum Kendra Harbinger returns as Director of Player Development after playing her graduate season with the Minutewomen in 2022. Harbinger earned IWLCA Second-Team All-Region and second-team all-league honors in 2022 after leading Mass in points with 62 and goals with 49.
