AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts women's lacrosse team hosts Saint Joseph's for the Atlantic 10 home opener on Saturday. The Minutewomen and Hawks begin play at 1 p.m. on Garber Field on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
The Minutewomen came away with a 20-8 victory in the Atlantic 10 opener on Saturday at George Mason. Skylar Simmonds scored a season-high five goals while Fiona McGowan finished with seven points on three goals and four assists. UMass pulled away with 10 unanswered goals after the Patriots pulled within two at 8-6, taking an 18-6 lead midway through the fourth.

Road Trip
UMass returns home for the first time since Feb. 27 following a three-game road trip. The Minutewomen began the road stretch with a 15-6 win at LIU before dropping the next contest at Dartmouth. UMass defeated George Mason 20-8 in the A-10 opener to conclude the stretch.

Series History
Saturday's game is the 36th all-time meeting between UMass and Saint Joseph's dating back to the first matchup in 1994. The Minutewomen hold a 32-3 series advantage after claiming a 15-12 win last season in Philadelphia.

Movin' On Up
Audra Tosone moved into third all-time at UMass in career caused turnovers on Saturday at George Mason, finishing with a pair of give her 88 for her career. The graduate trails Kate Farnham's 95 for second-most all-time while Kristin St. Hilaire holds the program record with 115.

Quick Draw
Jordan Dean ranks second nationally and leads the Atlantic 10 in draw controls per game at 10.67. The junior has reached double-digits in draw controls in four of six games this season, including 17 against Holy Cross on Feb. 27. Dean currently ranks third all-time at UMass in career draw controls with 256 and trails Hannah Murphy's 310 for second all-time.

Hat Tricks For Days
Kassidy Morris has finished with five consecutive hat tricks dating back to her four goal, three assist performance against Brown on Feb. 17. Morris scored a career-high five goals in a 15-6 win at LIU and leads UMass in goals this season with 20. The redshirt sophomore ranks 36th nationally and second in the A-10 in goals per game at 3.33 and is 37th nationally in shots per contest.

Helping Hand
Fiona McGowan moved into a tie for seventh most career assists at UMass on Saturday and has 83 for her career. McGowan trails Cari Nickerson's 106 assists for sixth-most all-time at UMass. The graduate currently ranks 31st nationally and second in the A-10 this season in assists per game at 2.00.

First Hat Tricks
Caroline Whelan and Ava Connaughton each picked up their first collegiate hat tricks this season. Whelan finished with her first career hat trick against Holy Cross on Feb. 27 while Connaughton recorded hers on March 2 at LIU, finishing with three goals and an assist for four points.

Looking Ahead
The Minutewomen head back out on the road on Wednesday, March 20 to take on La Salle at 2 p.m. UMass then returns to Garber Field on Saturday, March 23 to host St. Bonaventure before welcoming in Davidson the following Saturday.
