UMass Men’s Lacrosse’s Bregman Collects Atlantic 10 Player Of The Week Recognition

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse senior attackman Mason Bregman was selected as the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. It marks Bregman's first career honor and the first weekly award for the Gorillas this season.
Bregman led UMass in scoring in a 2-0 week, recording nine points on six goals and three assists. The Mount Laurel, N.J. native tied a career high in points (5) and goals (4) in a 17-6 win over Merrimack this past Saturday. He also contributed two goals and two assists in a 18-11 win over Marist last Tuesday. Bregman had five ground balls and two caused turnovers on the week, as well.
Massachusetts continues its homestand this Saturday, March 2, when the squad will play host to UAlbany at Garber Field at 1 p.m.
