Tennis Lands Four On CSC Academic All-District Team

Hack, Krasakova, Jonglertrakul and Napadiy earn the honor for the first time for their efforts in the classroom and on the court.

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts tennis had four Minutewomen named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday. Juniors Danielle Hack and Mariya Krasakova, sophomore Thamonpan Jonglertrakul and graduate student Anna Napadiy all collected the honor for the first time in their careers.
 
The accolade recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined efforts on the court and in the classroom. To be nominated for the CSC Academic All-District Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
 
Hack, a Surrey, England, native, is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. The junior split time between No. 1 and No. 2 singles this season, posting an overall record of 9-5. In doubles competition she recorded a 12-5 record, partnering mostly with Napadiy at the No. 2 slot, and finished with an Atlantic 10 Conference record of 6-0.
 
Earning an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Krasakova finished the dual season with a 13-3 singles record and a doubles record of 11-5. The Novosibirsk, Russia, native, took over the No. 3 position all year in singles and stayed unblemished in the A-10 at 5-0. She partnered with Melisa Senli in doubles play, as the duo primarily competed at court No. 1, going 8-5 in the spot.
 
A native of Bangkok, Thailand, Jonglertrakul is working towards her Bachelor's degree in Food Science. The sophomore capped the 2023 season with a 7-3 singles record, splitting time at No. 4 and No. 5, while posting an 8-4 doubles record. She mostly competed with her partner, Dylan Cannon, in the No. 3 slot, going 6-2 overall.
 
Napadiy, a Lviv, Ukraine, native, is pursuing a graduate degree in Finance after earning her undergraduate degree in the major. In the dual season, the graduate student put together a 10-7 singles record and a 12-6 doubles record. She played primarily at No. 4 singles, posting an 8-4 record, and in doubles partnered with Hack, as the duo went 10-4 at No. 2 and 6-0 in league play.
 
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 1.
