Atlantic 10 Reveals Inaugural Men's Lacrosse Championship Field

NEWPORT NEWS, Va.— The field is set for the inaugural Atlantic 10 Men's Lacrosse Championship, which will be held in Richmond, Virginia at Richmond's Robins Stadium, beginning with two semifinal matchups on Thursday, May 4, with the title game set for Saturday, May 6, at noon.
Finishing the regular season at 8-5 overall and 3-2 in A-10 play, Massachusetts men's lacrosse has earned the No. 3 seed and will face No. 2 seed Richmond Thursday's second semifinal at 8 p.m. A-10 Regular Season Champion Saint Joseph's will take on No. 4 seed High Point in the earlier semifinal matchup at 5:30 p.m.
Graduate student Gabriel Procyk's 35 points (21 goals, 14 assists) pace the Gorillas' offense, while Mike Tobin follows with 29 points on 15 goals and 14 assists and put up 19 points over five A-10 games to finish second in points per-game at 3.80. Senior goalkeeper Matt Knote leads the league with the only sub-10 goal against average (8.89), and also has an A-10 best .601 save percentage and 13.23 saves per-game.
