Massachusetts Men’s Lacrosse Reveals 2024 Schedule

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse will play five of its first six games at home to open the year and will host the Atlantic 10 Championship, highlighting the upcoming 2024 campaign. The Gorillas will begin the season on Saturday, February 10, against 2023 Patriot League Champion Army in Atlanta, Georgia.
UMass will face the Black Knights in the first of two collegiate games at the 2024 Atlanta Lacrosse Invitational at 12:30 p.m., followed by a UNC vs. Mercer matchup at Silverbacks Park.
The Gorillas will then host UMass Lowell for their home opener on Saturday, February 17, at 3 p.m., beginning a stretch of five straight home contests. UMass will welcome 2023 MAAC Champion Marist to Garber Field for its lone midweek matchup of the season on Tuesday, February 20, at 3 p.m.
Merrimack will visit Amherst on Saturday, February 24, for its first meeting with Massachusetts, which is set for a 1 p.m. start. UMass will then close out its home non-conference slate against a pair of America East foes in UAlbany and Vermont on March 2 and March 9, respectively, both scheduled for 1 p.m.
The Gorillas will travel to Farmingdale, New York on Saturday, March 16, to take on Rutgers in a neutral site matchup at 1 p.m. and will then play their non-league finale at Brown on Friday, March 22.
Atlantic 10 play opens for UMass on the road at Hobart on Saturday, March 30, at 1 p.m., while Saint Joseph's will visit Garber Field on Saturday, April 6 at 1 p.m.
Massachusetts will head to St. Bonaventure for the first time on Saturday, April 13, before returning to Amherst for its final regular season home game against Richmond on Saturday, April 20 at noon.
The Gorillas close out the regular season on the road at High Point on Friday, April 26 at 3 p.m. and will serve as host for the Atlantic 10 Championship with semifinal games set for Thursday, May 2, and the final scheduled for Saturday, May 4 at Garber Field.
Tickets for the 2024 University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse season are on-sale now. Fans can renew season tickets, purchase new season ticket plans or buy single-game passes online, over the phone by dialing 866-UMASS-TIX, or in person at the Mullins Center Box Office.
All seating at Garber Field is general admission. New season ticket plans cost $49 ($7 per game) while single-game tickets for the general public are $10. New for the 2024 season, youth (Ages 17 & Under) season tickets are just $21 ($3 per game). UMass Faculty/Staff as well as senior (Ages 65 & Older) season tickets are $28 ($4 per game). Single game tickets for seniors, youths and UMass faculty and staff are $5. Discounted season ticket plans can only be purchased over the phone. Discounted single game tickets can be purchased over the phone by dialing, in-person at the Mullins Center Box Office, or at the Garber Field entry gates on game day.
