- The Massachusetts Women's Lacrosse team (12-2, 6-0 A-10) soared to 12-2 on Sunday, April 10 with a huge 15-9 victory over the Spiders of Richmond University (11-3, 5-1 A-10). This win saw the Minutewomen rise to 6-0 in the Atlantic 10, surpassing the Spiders as the best record of the conference.
- Three stars shined the brightest on Sunday, as senior Maddy Moloney, graduate student Kelly Marra, and graduate student Kendra Harbinger combined for 10 goals. The trio was able to outscore Richmond all by themselves and set a terrific tone for the defense to build on.
- Alex Finn, Haley Connaughton, Brinley Anderson, and Olivia Muscella also contributed goals in the victory, while Muscella led the charge with seven draw controls and two caused turnovers.
- Senior Gina Carroll held firm, as the Spiders' onslaught of shots was not enough to trouble the UMass goalkeeper, as she tallied 11 saves in the contest.

- The Minutewomen hold a 22-1 record against La Salle.
- The teams met in 1999 for the first time, with the last meeting in 2021.
- The Minutewomen hold an 10-1 record at home, 11-0 on the road and 1-0 in neutral site games.
- Massachusetts currently sits at 29-3 against the SJU, with an 10-2 record at home, a 14-1 record on the road, and a 2-0 neutral site record.
- The first meeting between the two teams took place and the last in 2021 in the Atlantic 10 Championship game, in which the Minutewomen were victorious by a score of 18-7.
- Nine different players scored a goal, led by six points from Haley Connaughton (four goals, two assists) as the Massachusetts women's lacrosse team (10-2, 5-0) rolled past La Salle (3-8, 1-5) at McCarthy Stadium, 17-7.
- The victory extended the Minutewomen's winning streak to nine games, marking the ninth time under head coach Angela McMahon that Massachusetts has won at least nine games in a row in a season.
- Connaughton was assisted by three goals and one assist from Kelly Marra while Olivia Muscella all found the back of the net twice on the afternoon.

- University of Massachusetts women's lacrosse wrapped up an undefeated 2021 Atlantic 10 Conference season with its 18-13 victory over Saint Joseph's on the road.
- Massachusetts concluded the regular season with a 13-2 overall record and an 8-0 mark in Atlantic 10 games. It is the ninth all-time season in which UMass went undefeated in Atlantic 10 play, alongside the 2011-17 and 2019 campaigns. Saint Joseph's fell to 9-6 overall and 6-2 in league play. Both of the Hawk's A-10 losses were to the Minutewomen.
- The win also marked Massachusetts' 12th consecutive victory. It is the longest win streak since the 2017 Minutewomen won 16 straight games and the eighth all-time winning streak of 12 or more games.
- Haley Connaughton paced UMass with seven points via five goals and two assists, while Kelly Marra and Maddy Moloney also had three points apiece – with Marra contributing two goals and an assist and Moloney earning her points via a trio of goals. Olivia Muscella scored twice, and Alex Finn rounded out the UMass points producers with an assist.

- The Massachusetts women's lacrosse program participated in the Head Strong Foundations, Hair Havoc game for cancer on March 5 against UConn.

- Under the Headstrong Foundation, graduate midfielder, Olivia Muscella has created Kendra's Kindness Foundation in honor of her mother. All proceeds from the March 5 contest were donated to families effected by cancer in the name of the Kendra's Kindness Foundation.
- The fundraiser is a season-long effort as the Minutewomen work to benefit more families impacted my cancer.
- The Massachusetts women's lacrosse program will celebrate 11 seniors who have contributed so much to the program.
- The pregame celebration will take place before the first-draw of the Minutewomen's final home stand against Saint Joseph's on Saturday, April 16.

- Emily Johnston leads La Salle with 34 goals and 41 total points on the season. She currently sits at No. 6 in the Atlantic 10 with goals per game at 2.43.
- Maddie Henderson is second on the team with 20 goals and 24 points on the season.

- Senior Julia Smith is eighth in assists per game with 1.14.
- The Minutewomen currently lead the A-10 in scoring Margin, winning by an average of seven goals per game.
- UMass is currently No. 3 in the NCAA for scoring percentage, and the No. 13 for scoring defense.
- Massachusetts is the No. 4 scoring offense in the nation heading into the weekend.
- With her 200th win, Angela McMahon-Serpone further solidified her spot as the winningest coach in program history.
- UMass is currently fourth in scoring offense nationally, and first in clear percentage, while being 8th in win percentage.
