CAA Championship Announcement

UMass faces No. 2 seed Drexel during semifinal round on Thurs., May 6

RICHMOND, Va. - University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse will be the No. 3 seed in the upcoming CAA Championship and will face No. 2 seed Drexel during semifinal round action at Hofstra's Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, New York, on Thurs., May 6 at 7 p.m.

No. 1 seed Delaware begins the tournament with a semifinal round game against the No. 4 seed and host-Pride on Thurs., May 6 at 4 p.m. The winners of Delaware-Hofstra and UMass-Drexel will square off in the CAA Championship Game on Sat., May 8 at 1 p.m.

All three games of the tournament can be seen on the Lax Sports Network (LSN).

The 202 CAA Men's Lacrosse Championship was not held last May, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The competing teams and the seedings were determined by a vote of the Seeding and Selection Committee, comprised of selected CAA Men's Lacrosse athletic directors.
