• After a strong start to the Atlantic 10 schedule with wins at Davidson and at home against VCU, the UMass women's lacrosse team returns to Garber Field this weekend to host George Mason on Friday (3 PM) and Saint Joseph's on Sunday (1 PM). Admission to both games is free and both will be streamed live on ESPN+.
• UMass is 6-0 all-time against George Mason since the Patriots joined the Atlantic 10 in 2013-14. Against Saint Joseph's, the Minutewomen are 25-2 all-time having won 15 straight meetings. SJU's two wins were in 1996 and 2005.
• On the year, Kiley Anderson leads the Minutewomen with 46 points (41 goals, 5 assists) and 60 draw controls. Kaitlyn Cerasi is just behind with 44 points thanks to a team-best 24 assists. Haley Connaughton and Stephanie Croke rank have also eclipsed the 30-point plateau with 35 and 32 points, respectively.
• Anderson's 181 career draw controls rank fourth all-time in UMass history, while her 137 goals are tied as the 7th most. Cerasi's 89 assists are the 5th-most in program history. Goalie Lauren Hiller's 30 wins are the third most for a career, while her 312 saves rank eighth overall.
• Nationally, the Minutewomen rank 3rd overall for scoring offense (17.60 goals/game), are 2nd in draw controls per game (18.90) and 3rd in points per game (26.00). Anderson ranks fourth in the NCAA for goals per game (4.56) and is 8th in total goals.
• One of the most winningest programs in NCAA women's lacrosse over the last nine years with 149 victories (including this year), UMass has reached the NCAA Tournament in nine of the previous 10 years with the Minutewomen reaching the second round in 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017. In 2016, UMass reached the quarterfinals for the first time since 1984.
• Since 2011, UMass is 72-5 at home between Garber Field and McGuirk Stadium as its home venues. Since moving back to Garber Field in 2016, the Minutewomen are 26-2 in the stadium with the two loses both coming from Boston College.
