• The start of Atlantic 10 play begins this weekend as UMass begins the second half of the season and looks to build upon its postseason resume. The Minutewomen will start on the road at Davidson on Friday night (6 PM) before returning home to host VCU on Sunday (1 PM) at Garber Field.
• On the year, Kiley Anderson leads the Minutewomen with 41 points (38 goals, 3 assists) and 46 draw controls. Kaitlyn Cerasi is just behind with 32 points thanks to a team-best 19 assists. Haley Connaughton is just behind with 28 points on 12 goals and 16 assists.
• Anderson's 167 career draw controls rank fourth all-time in UMass history, while her 134 goals are the 9th most. Cerasi's 84 assists are the 5th-most in program history. Goalie Lauren Hiller's 30 wins are the third most for a career, while her 305 saves rank eighth overall.
• Nationally, the Minutewomen rank 5th overall for scoring offense (16.75 goals/game), are 2nd in draw controls per game (18.75) and 5th in points per game (25.38). Anderson leads the NCAA in goals per game (5.43) and is 4th in total goals.Â
• One of the most winningest programs in NCAA women's lacrosse over the last nine years with 147 victories (including this year), UMass has reached the NCAA Tournament in nine of the previous 10 years with the Minutewomen reaching the second round in 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017. In 2016, UMass reached the quarterfinals for the first time since 1984. Â
• Since 2011, UMass is 70-5 at home between Garber Field and McGuirk Stadium as its home venues. Since moving back to Garber Field in 2016, the Minutewomen are 24-2 in the stadium with the two loses both coming from Boston College.
