Tennis Releases Spring 2020 Match Schedule

Minutewomen will host eight home matches
AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts tennis and head coach Juancarlos Nunez announced the team's spring season schedule on Friday. The Minutewomen host eight home matches throughout the campaign leading into the 2020 Atlantic 10 Championship.
After the Minutewomen return from the winter intercession with a roadtrip to Boston College on Thurs., Jan. 23, UMass plays host to three consecutive regional opponents in St. Bonaventure (Sat., Jan. 25), Binghamton (Sun., Jan. 26) and Bryant (Sat., Feb. 1).
Army and St. John's also visit town on back-to-back days, with the Black Knights arriving ahead of a Sat., Feb. 15 match before the Minutewomen and Red Storm meet on Sun., Feb. 16.
Massachusetts brings three more regional rivals to town throughout the spring, including Brown (Sun., March 1), UConn (Thurs., April 2) and Rhode Island for Senior Day (Sun., April 19).
Highlighting the team's road trips this spring are treks to the ECAC Indoor Championships, hosted at Columbia in New York City, and back-to-back-to-back matches in Louisiana at Nicholls State, Southeastern Louisiana and the University of New Orleans. Key Atlantic 10 matchups at Fordham and Saint Joseph's are also on the docket.
The Atlantic 10 Championship runs from Wed., April 22 through Sat., April 25. The winner will advance to NCAA Tournament competition beginning Fri., May 1.
