Minutemen head to Upper Canada College for tri-team tournament with Hobart, Rutgers

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse will trek North of the border for a weekend-long trip to Toronto, Ontario, from Fri., Oct. 11 through Sun., Oct. 13. During the trip, the program will square off with two familiar Division I opponents in Hobart and Rutgers at Upper Canada College, help host a youth clinic on the UCC field and will also spend time touring the local sights, including Niagara Falls.

All three teams will meet on Sun., Oct. 13 at Upper Canada College for their scrimmage action. UMass plays Rutgers first at 10 a.m. before the Scarlet Knights square off with Hobart at Noon. The Minutemen and the Statesman battle at 2 p.m. Prior to competing against each other, the three teams will combine and host a youth clinic alongside the Ontario Lacrosse Association at 3 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 12.
