Softball Announces 2015 Fall Schedule, Alumnae Weekend Activities

The University of Massachusetts Softball program has announced it's fall slate for 2015, including the updated schedule for the annual Alumnae Weekend. The Minutewomen will play a four-game exhibition season, with three games taking place at Sortino Field. The fall portion of the academic year concludes with the Alumnae Weekend - featuring the 2015 season banquet on Friday, Oct. 9, the alumnae game on Saturday, Oct. 10 and golf tournament on Sunday, Oct. 11.
The Minutewomen will kick off the fall schedule on Saturday, Sept. 26 when they host Army and Boston College in a round-robin of games at Sortino Field. A day later, the Minutewomen will play host to Dartmouth at 1 p.m. The following weekend, UMass will travel to Sacred Heart for a doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 3, beginning at 1 p.m.
ALUMNAE WEEKEND
Alumnae Weekend begins on Friday, Oct. 9 with the 2015 Banquet. Head Coach Kristi Stefanoni, her staff and friends of the program will use the event as a chance to celebrate and honor the 2015 senior class of Allison Kearney, Quianna Diaz-Patterson, Anna Kelley, Bridget Lemire, Mikayla Panko and Caroline Raymond.
The banquet will be held in the Massachusetts Room in the Mullins Center, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tickets to the banquet are $35 per person and reservations can be made by returning the Banquet RSVP Form to:

The weekend continues on Saturday, Oct. 10 with the Annual Alumnae Game, set to begin at Noon at Sortino Field. All UMass softball alums are encouraged to take part and the event will be open to the public.
Alums and supporters can test their skills on the links on Sunday, Oct. 11 with the Annual Golf Scramble at Hickory Ridge Golf Club in Amherst. The Noon shotgun start, captain-and-crew (scramble), event costs $125 per person and gets you 18 holes of golf, cart, dinner, snacks, gifts, prizes and a tax donation. To participate in the golf outing, fill out the Golf Scramble Entry Form above and return it to the softball office at the address above.
