UMass Softball Gears Up for Alumnae Weekend

AMHERST, Mass. - On Friday, Oct. 9 the University of Massachusetts softball team will begin hosting its annual Alumnae Weekend series of events.

Festivities start inside the Mullins Center on Friday at 5:30 p.m., where the program will honor the 2015 squad, namely graduates Bridget Lemire, Allison Kearney, Caroline Raymond, Mikayla Panko, Anna Kelley and Quianna Diaz-Patterson.

The following day, Sortino Field will host the UMass Softball Alumnae game beginning at noon. All former UMass alumnae are invited to play, and the event is open to the public free of charge.

Finally on Sunday, Oct. 11, the Annual Golf Scramble will kick off at Hickory Ridge Golf Club in Amherst. Supporters of UMass Softball, along with alums of the program will compete on the links throughout the day starting at noon.
