AMHERST, Mass. - The Massachusetts at Boston University softball game scheduled for Tuesday afternoon in Boston has been canceled due to rain.
The game may be rescheduled but that will be announced if the teams can come to an agreement on a date.
UMass (10-15, 4-2 Atlantic 10) will now turn its attention to a four-game road trip to La Salle and Fordham this Thursday-Saturday. Fordham leads the league at 5-1 and La Salle is just behind at 6-2.
The Minutewomen have won seven of their last eight, including four-consecutive in league play.
The La Salle series will be played on Thursday and Friday at 3 p.m., with a doubleheader at Fordham set for Saturday at Noon. All four games will be broadcast online at UMassAthletics.com and available on the Atlantic 10 Conference mobile app.
