Parking Advisory For Atlantic 10 Softball Championship

The University of Massachusetts Athletic Department is advising fans attending the 2013 Atlantic 10 Softball Championship at Sortino Field to access the softball complex lots and adjacent lots during the championship via Route 116. Take 116 North and exit right onto Massachusetts Ave. Take your first right into Lot 14 which sits along the perimeter of the softball complex.
With the threat of rain in Wednesday afternoon's forecast, the championship committee has adjusted the start time for the first day of the event. Game One between No. 4 seed George Washington and No. 5 seed Saint Louis will now start at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. Game Two between No. 3 Temple and No. 6 Dayton will begin at 12:30 p.m. Game Three between the losers of the first two games will begin at 3:00 p.m.
With UMass graduation taking place on Friday evening (5 p.m. start at McGuirk Alumni Stadium) and Saturday morning at various locations across campus, softball patrons and team buses are asked to park in Lot 14 using the above directions.
Ticket prices range from $3-8 per day or a tournament pass can be purchased for $12 (youth) or $24 (adult).
