Softball Against BC Rained Out

AMHERST, Mass. - UMass softball's doubleheader against Boston College, originally scheduled for 3 p.m. on Wednesday, has been rained out. The games will not be rescheduled. The Minutewomen will return to action on Saturday when they face Rhode Island in a noon doubleheader in Kingston, R.I. They will return home for Senior Day on Sunday when the Minutewomen close the regular season hosting Quinnipiac at 1 p.m.

UMass and Boston College will not play each other in the 2011 season as their previously scheduled meeting in Chestnut Hill on April 13 was rained out as well.
