Alum Kevin Leveille Named MLL All-Star Again

BOSTON, Mass. - Legendary UMass All-American lacrosse star Kevin Leveille has been named to the Major League All-Star Team for the sixth year in a row. He will play for the MLL All-Stars on July 8 in the game held at Harvard Stadium vs. the U.S. National Team. Playing with the Chicago Machine. Leveille is third in the MLL in scoring with 24 points on 16 goals and eight assists.
The game, which faces off at 7 p.m., will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Leveille has continued to show his star power this year. He leads the Machine in scoring, helping the franchise get off to its best start in team history.
Leveille hails from Delmar, New York. During his senior season at UMass in 2003, Leveille was an All-American, having 34 goals and 17 assists for 51 points. Kevin was also one of sixteen finalists for the Tewaaraton Trophy, awarded to the top collegiate lacrosse player. Leveille ended his UMass career with 159 points, ranking 11th on UMass's all-time scoring list.
