A-10 Softball Schedule Update

AMHERST, Mass. - The third game of the 2010 Atlantic 10 Softball Championship, scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12 has been postponed until Thursday morning. Fourth-seeded Saint Louis will now take on either No. 6 Rhode Island on Thursday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the UMass Softball Complex in Amherst, Mass.
Also on Thursday, top-seeded Massachusetts will play its first game, a 12:00 p.m. match-up with No. 5 Saint Joseph's, while No. 2 Fordham begins play at 2:00 p.m. against the No. 3 Charlotte. The last game of the day features the winner of the 5:00 p.m. game on Wednesday versus the lowest remaining seed at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Third round play on Friday, May 14, begins at 12:00 p.m. with another tripleheader. The finals of the A-10 Championship will be played at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, with a possible rematch at 4:00 p.m., if necessary.
