Softball Hosts Saint Louis Sunday At Noon

What's On Tap: UMass (17-12-1, 4-0 A-10) looks to extend its six-game winning streak Sunday afternoon when Saint Louis makes its first-ever visit to the UMass Softball Complex. These two teams split their first meetings last season in Missouri. The Billikens won the first game 1-0 despite just one infield single, but the Minutewomen came back for a 13-3 win in the night cap. The Minutewomen are coming off a pair of wins Tuesday afternoon against Rhode Island (4-0 and 6-1) and looking to extend the nation's longest home winning streak (19).
Proctor On Fire: Junior Lauren Proctor has hit safely in 20 of the last 24 games this season and is second on the team hitting .378 on the year. In those 20 games, eight were multi-hit games including three, three-hit games. In the last 12 contests, Proctor is batting .447 with five doubles, a home run and 12 RBI. She was 5-for-6 in the two games against Rhode Island Tuesday.
