AMHERST, Mass. - The recent heavy rains and poor field conditions have forced the cancellation of today's softball game between Massachusetts and Connecticut. The game will not be made up. The Minutewomen will look to extend their 11-game winning streak this weekend with four games in Philadelphia. They will play a single game at Temple Friday at 3:00 and Saturday at Noon before a doubleheader at Saint Joseph's Sunday at Noon. Live audio and stats of all four games will be available at www.umassathletics.com beginning 10 minutes before first pitch with the pre-game show.
