    AMHERST, Mass. -- University of Massachusetts head softball coach Elaine Sortino has announced the fall schedule. The Minutewomen will play 12 games this fall, including 10 of them at home.

    The season closes out out with the annual alumnae game on October 8. The game, which will be played at 11:00 a.m., is held in conjunction with the alumnae weekend. Later that evening, the banquet will be held at the Massachusetts Room in the Mullins Center. Then on Sunday, October 9, the annual UMass Softball Golf Tournament will take place. More information on the alumnae weekend will be available shortly on www.umassathletics.com.
