TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Due to several bands of heavy rain and two different tornado warnings, NCAA officials had to postpone the remaining day three schedule of the NCAA Softball Regional Tournament until Sunday. UMass defeated Georgia Tech, 2-0, to start the day today, but a tornado warning in the area shortly after it ended forced the evacuation of the Alabama Softball Complex where Alabama was supposed to play Southern Illinois. The two teams will try and play at 10:30 a.m. Eastern time tomorrow morning with UMass scheduled to take on the loser thirty minutes after it is over.
