OVERVIEW
Pitcher/Catcher School - July 14-17
The pitcher/catcher school is designed to teach those athletes who wish for more intensive and in-depth instruction in the skills and psychology of pitching and catching.
Pitching Instruction Includes: * Video Analysis * Individualized Instruction * Speed Components * All Moving Pitches (Rise, Drop, Curve, Off-Speed) Catching Instruction Includes: * Stance & Reciveing Pitches * Framing Pitches * Blocking Balls * Pass Balls * Tag Plays * Bunts * Pick-off & Steals * Pop-ups
Pitchers and catchers receive instruction on strategies of calling and pitching a game, reading the hitter and the importance of strength and fitness.
* Hitting will be taught at both Skill Schools
General Skills School - July 7-10
The General Skills School will focus on all positions of the game. Players will be instructed twice a day in infield, outfield, catching or pitching skills. General Skills Instruction Includes: * Hitting * Bunting * Sacrafice * Slap * Drag * Base running * Sliding * Head-first * Feet-first * Positional defensive play * Foot work * Glove work * Bag coverage
GENERAL INFORMATION
Age and Experience
* Athlete must be at least 12 years or older to be a resident in the dorms. * Athletes will be grouped by age and experience.
Staff
We are fortunate to have a fine staff of highly experience Division I collegiate coaches and assistant coaches. Our school also features demonstrations and instructions from many All-American, All-Region and All-Conference collegiate players. The schools will also feature some of the top hitting and pitching instructors in the nation. There will be a full-time trainer available throughout the duration of the school.

Registration
A confirmation letter with complete information will be sent to you upon receipt of your deposit. It will include directions, location and times of registration; a list of what to bring; general information; and the closing ceremonies information.
Commuters
Commuters will be dropped off each day at 8:30 a.m., and will be picked up at 8:00 p.m. at the UMass Softball Complex. Athletes enrolled in the General Skills School will register at 8:30 a.m., on Sunday, July 7. Athletes enrolled in the Pitcher/Catcher School will register at 8:30 a.m., on Sunday, July 14. Commuters will be served lunch and dinner.
Both schools will have limited enrollment. Don't delay your registration!
