A familiar face around UMass Athletics, Brittany Famiglietti transitioned to the women's basketball programs as director of operations in March 2020. Famiglietti moved into the position after nearly two years with UMass Athletics on the Sales & Fan experience staff.

"I'm thrilled to welcome Brittany to our staff in this role," said head coach Tory Verdi. "I've enjoyed the opportunity to work with her the last two years and seeing the results of her proactive efforts marketing our program in the community. She is a rising star in the collegiate athletics world and her continued work will be instrumental in our pursuit of a championship-caliber program at the University of Massachusetts."

In her current position, Famiglietti directs a number of day-to-day and administrative facets within the women's basketball program, including team travel, meals, budgeting and practice planning. She also supervises the team's staff of student managers.

Beginning in Summer 2018, Famiglietti served as game operations coordinator on the athletic department's Sales & Fan Experience staff. She spearheaded all marketing aspects around UMass women's basketball and was a primary or assistant contact for multiple other sports.

Prior to UMass, the Longmeadow, Massachusetts native spent time with Major League Soccer's Sporting Kansas City, where Famiglietti was a stadium and event operations intern. She graduated from Springfield College in 2018 with a degree in Sport Management.
