Bulger Named As Women's Basketball Director Of Operations

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts women's basketball head coach Mike Leflar announced the hire of Kate Bulger as the Director of Operations on Monday afternoon.
Bulger moves into the Director of Operations role after spending the past four seasons as a team manager for the women's basketball program. During her time with the Minutewomen, Bulger had responsibilities with preparing and managing team equipment for practices, games, and travel of both UMass and visiting team, as well as assisting the Director of Operations with distribution of team apparel and creating team travel itineraries.
She also has experience assisting the Director of Scouting & Video with statistical reports and team statistics during practices and games, as well as directing a group of six managers, providing guidance and maintaining efficient daily operations.
Bulger graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management and a Business Analytics certificate from the UMass Isenberg School of Management in May 2026.
