Reed Goodhue rejoined the University of Massachusetts men’s lacrosse program as a volunteer assistant coach ahead of the 2015-16 school year. In this role, Goodhue will assist head coach Greg Cannella and assistants Craig McDonald and Doc Schneider with the in-office day-to-day responsibilities of the program while coaching with McDonald on the defensive side of the ball and with the goalie unit.
Goodhue completed his undergraduate playing days at the University of Massachusetts in the Spring 2014. A goalie for the Minutemen, Goodhue played in 22 games and held a career .520 save percentage. He earned scholastic honors in recognition of his success in the classroom as a senior when Goodhue took home the CAA Academic Achievement Award and NEILA Senior Scholar Athlete accolades as one of the team’s captains.
A Topsfield, Mass., native, Goodhue led Masconomet Regional High School to 60 victories dur- ing his four scholastic seasons as he earned all-conference, all-region and all-scholastic honors with the Chieftains.
