AS A SENIOR IN 2009:

? Started all 15 games. Third on team with 20 caused turnovers. Also had 43 groundballs, tied for second on team.
? Lead defense which is ranked 11th in scoring defense (7.93) and sixth in man-down defense (79.3).
?Picked up four groundballs in NCAA First Round at Princeton (5/10).
? For second game a row, did not allow the man he defended to score at Fairfield (4/21) with two groundballs.
? Did not allow a goal by the man he defended vs. Georgetown (4/18), grabbing three groundballs.
? Great defense again allowing his man to just one goal along with three groundballs and two caused turnovers at Hobart (4/11).
? Part of close defense that kept St. John's (4/4) starting attack pointless while grabbing career-high five groundballs and forcing three turnovers.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Sophomore defenseman played against Penn State (3/31) and vs. Sacred Heart (3/20) ... scooped up a ground ball against Sacred Heart.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Played in two games as a reserve close defenseman vs. Hobart (4/15) and Sacred Heart (3/21).

BEFORE UMASS: Three-year letterwinner at Cortland High School for coach John Spallone ... named to Onondaga League First Team ... Section III All-Star as a senior ... picked up 215 career groundballs including 6.0 per game as senior ... as a junior, solidified the Purple Tigers defense that had a 14-6 record in 2004 and won the league championships ... also excelled in football, where he was a Post-Standard honorable mention selection ... also starred for the Cortland High basketball team ... member of the National Honor Society ... played at the same high school as recently graduated UMass midfielder Jamie Yaman.
