AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts hockey has collected a pair of weekly awards following wins over #13 Boston College and New Hampshire to close out the regular season. Junior Michael Hrabal earned Goaltender of the Week recognition for the third time this season and senior co-captain Owen Murray collected Hockey East Defender of the Week honors.

Hrabal posted a 1.50 goals against average and a .952 save percentage in a 2-0-0 week. The Prague, Czechia native stopped 60 of 63 shots as two of three goals allowed came on the power play. He made 34 saves in a 2-1 win over No. 13 Boston College and stopped 26 shots at UNH.

Murray had two points on a goal and an assist with a game winning goal and five blocked shots last week. He scored the game winner in the third period against Boston College, and logged an assist and blocked three shots in a 4-2 win at New Hampshire.
