Ölvestad Selected As Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts hockey senior defenseman Lucas Ölvestad has been selected as the Hockey East Army ROTC Defender of the Week, the league announced on Monday. It marks Ölvestad's first career honor and the seventh weekly award for a member of the Minutemen in 2025-26.
Ölvestad factored in all three goals in UMass' 3-1 win over Merrimack on Saturday to complete its sweep of the Warriors.
