Minutewomen Make It Three Straight, Dominating Duquesne 19-7

AMHERST, MASS. -- Massachusetts women's lacrosse (5-3, 3-0 A-10) claimed it's third straight win with a 19-7 victory over Duquesne (5-3, 2-1) on Saturday afternoon at Garber Field.
The Minutewomen opened the game with seven goals unanswered, eventually outscoring the Dukes 13-3 in the first half. Massachusetts dominated in both draw controls (24-4) and shots (46-18) en route to its third Atlantic 10 win of the season.
Ava Connaughton tallied four goals in back-to-back games, adding two assists for a team-high six points. Tessa Shields matched with six points of her own, recording two goal and a career-high four assists.
Jordan Dean dominated the draw control circle, recording a single game career-high 23 draw controls in the contest. The Greenback, Ontario native also matched her career-high with two goals on the afternoon.
Kassidy Morris continued to impress, tallying five points on four goals and an assist.
The Dukes were led by Tristen who scored Chang who scored a team-high two goals on three shots.
