Hrabal Collects Third Hockey East Weekly Award Of The Season

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts sophomore goaltender Michael Hrabal has been named the Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. It marks Hrabal's third weekly award this season and the sixth for a member of the Minutemen.
Hrabal posted a 1-1-0 with a 2.55 goals against average and a .940 save percentage over two games against No. 1 Boston College with 78 saves. He stopped 37 of 39 shots in a 3-2 win on the road against the Eagles on Friday for a .949 save percentage. The Prague, Czechia native turned aside 41 of the 44 shots he faced (.932 sv %) in Saturday's 4-1 loss.
