AMHERST, Mass. – Massachusetts (4-1-2) opens Atlantic 10 play at home, hosting George Mason (5-1-0) at Rudd Field on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. with action streaming live on ESPN+.

The Minutemen are coming off a convincing 5-0 win against Dartmouth (1-3-1) in Tuesday evening's thriller. Alec Hughes scored his second hat trick this year, who now stands second among All-Time goal scorers in program history (45), trailing only Jeff Deren '03 (48). He started the rout scoring in the second minute of the game. Hughes continued his hot streak by scoring twice more, a few minutes after his first and early into the second half. Alex Geczy kept his second-straight clean sheet and fourth on the season. Matt Cence scored a goal and assisted twice to receive four points on the day.

Alec Hughes has now scored in 5 straight games totaling 10 on the year so far.
