Minutemen Set to Take on Bryant

AMHERST, Mass. – Massachusetts (0-0-1, 0-0-0 A10) continues its opening road trip in Smithfield, R.I. Monday evening, taking on Bryant University (0-0-0, 0-0-0 AE) at 6:00 p.m. Action will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
The Minutemen are coming off a scoreless draw in the season opener at Siena last Thursday. Senior goalkeeper Alex Geczy recorded the clean sheet for UMass, saving three shots.

UMass returns 16 players from last year's roster including Alec Hughes and fellow graduate student Mike Willis.

Scouting Bryant
This match up will be the first time UMass faces off against Bryant since 2019. The Minutemen hold a 1-1-0 record, dropping the most recent matchup 2-1. Each program's victories were earned on home turf.

Bryant posted a 16-2-2 record last season, going 5-1-2 in the America East. The Bulldogs claimed its conference championship, besting No. 10 New Hampshire 1-0. Bryant was eliminated in the first round of the NCAA Tournament by Yale in a 1-0 decision.
